Happy New Year! Hope everyone had a safe and memorable NYE!
So if you guys follow my Instagram, you’ll know Craig and I were in New York over the New Year. We had such an eventful trip that I am literally, still recovering. Too much New York, too little time! And while we may have had a weekend full of events, I was still able to squeeze in just a little bit of shopping. I love NYC shopping!
And honestly, what’s not to love? From SoHo to Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdales to Zara, the shops are endless. If you haven’t been to New York City, do yourself a favor and check it out. There is literally no city in the world like it, and no better place for shopping!
While we were out shopping one day, I found the store Superdry. After a quick google search, I found out Superdry is a contemporary brand using high-quality products to fuse “vintage American and Japanese-inspired graphics together with a British style.” All I know is this store is my newest go-to for comfortable and cute pieces at an affordable price – like this cream sweater I can’t get enough of.
Bonus…I can shop it online!
So, when I woke yesterday and saw the temperture was only to be a high of 19ºF (yikes), I knew exactly what I would be wearing for our Sunday day date in German Village. I paired this oversized cream sweater with an olive green fur puffer, black booties and of course a latte from Pastacia Vera and stepped out to brave the cold temps!
Hey summer…hurry up, okay?!
(I’m sad to say this coat is from a few winters ago so I linked some very similar olive puffer coats below, two of them by one of my favorites, Andrew Marc. Bag is also old, Steve Madden, so I linked one similar)

SHOP THE LOOK:
Although the year went by so fast, 2016 will always be unforgettable year to me.
In April, I got married to my best friend and insta-photographer, Craig. Love you Mr. Galloway! In July, I was given an opportunity to work for a practice I know and love, with doctors I respect and admire. There were so many beautiful weddings, a couple births, good times and some tough ones too, but 2016 will forever be one of my most memorable years.
So I’ll say goodbye to 2016-it was real, like really, really fun-and hello to the new year. I’m excited to see what you have in store for us, 2017!
