How was everyone’s Thanksgiving holiday? We had a great weekend. So great, actually, that I am still recovering!
This year our holiday was extra special. Not only did we have our family home for the holidays, but we got to celebrate our glorious win over “the team up north.” For you non-OSU fans I am referring to the University of Michigan. (Bleh)
See…there is this teeny-tiny little football rivalry between my beloved Ohio State Buckeyes and those Michigan Wolverines. Every year we meet, and every year the winner gets epic bragging rights until the following year. And this year, these rights belong to the Bucks! And no, it wasn’t a pretty win, but a win is a win.
Okay, okay, let me get past this moment of gloating….I’m trying…still trying….
Okay, I’m past it. On to more fashionable matters.
Can we talk about these OTK Marc Fisher boots! I’ve been looking for a pair of over-the-knee boots for a while now. See I have this issue with my legs. They are really long! Most of ankle jeans are actually just regular jeans that are short on me. So you can imagine that most OTK boots would be slightly short on me, but not these beauties. I paired these boots with my favorite Joe’s jeans and this Express cold shoulder sweater for a very comfortable fall look.

I grabbed this wool coat from a Stitch Fix box I received two years ago. I’m sad it’s no longer being made or I would share the link. It is Marc New York & one of my favorite coats! Since I can’t offer the exact link to this coat, I’ve put together a collection of a few others by Andrew Marc that I have my eye on.

I’m so excited it is almost hump day. I’m in some serious need of a little R&R after the crazy weekend I just had. Hope the work week goes fast for you all and the weekend goes very slow! CG and I are throwing our second annual Christmas party on Saturday and it’s always a blast, I can’t wait. Does anyone else have any fun weekend plans?
